Oh, Peanut

"Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot little puppies."
 -Gene Hill

Our new little puppy, Peanut, makes us laugh all the time.

Matt says Peanut is a little ladies man. Anytime we go anywhere, we get stopped every few seconds with people wanting to pet, cuddle, and play with him. Peanut loves it.

..................................................

He also loves pudding, loading the dishwasher, wrestling, and SHOES. He really loves shoes.

..................................................

He's still adjusting to baths, brooms, trash cans, and the ocean.

We'll get there eventually.

Life is SO good.

Home sweet home... FINALLY

With only a few more things to buy, and a couple walls to paint... we have finally made our cute little apartment a home. Thanks to everyone for all our wedding presents... our apartment would be empty without your help. :)

Front of our apartment <3

Our front porch... Matt thinks it needs a tiki man in the corner.
I'm thinking NOPE.

Our back deck.
Deck furniture is next on our list (: AND we have a laundry
room... through that door, with a nice washer and dryer!
YeAh! Too bad I PASSIONATELY HATE laundry.)

The view from our patio. PS: just in case you are wondering,
it's bunny and lizard world over here.

From our front door... notice the basketball hoop.
Dont worry, we have one in our bedroom too.

(:

This just reminds me of how early we get up every morning.

Our little dining room. After knowing Matt for more than
six years, I really had no idea how MUCH he EATS.  Its like
making dinner for 100 people.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE our kitchen.

And all of the cool things we have in it. <3

:)

<3

Our bedroom... and what we have finished of it so far.

Bathroom... obviously.

It's impossible to not love this closet.

And, its very useful because we have ATON of random stuff.

Thank you Target for our cool shower curtain.

Bathroom...

Aaaand, back to the living room. Which is right by the
front door.

Living room and deck door.

The best part of where we live is...

Being able to go on walks to the beach every day.

Today we found a basketball court on the path from our apartment to the beach.

Matt was so excited... I am 100% positive you'll find us there tomorrow after he gets off work.

.................

It makes the walk even better when we we walk home at sunset time.

The entire sky turns orange, pink, and purple.

And, if you know me, you know... sunsets are my favorite.

I married a gamer.

Matt: "Babe I brought home a huge box of double A batteries!"
Me: "Ummm.... why?"
Matt: "Man, if I was single these would be gold mine."
Me: ".......??????.........."
Matt: "I could play xbox FOREVER with these!"

Oh boy.

"Im going to lick your whole face from bottom to top."

Being married is the best. It kind of makes me feel like a freshman at Utah State all over again. We got all new stuff: kitchen, bedroom, living room etc-- just like I did when I started college. And, I have a roommate again-- which is a billion times better than living alone.

Its fun living together in California. Mostly because we havent lived together for three and a half years, so finally spending more than a weekend together is.... AMAZING. And, we get to go to the beach, go on walks, go swimming, watch movies, eat ice cream,  ichat with my family, play kinect, go to Ruby's, wrestle, watch movies, get a haircut for Matt every Sunday, watch the Laker games (no more), roast marshmallows in our fireplace, make breakfast on the weekends together, argue over which TV shows to watch, lay in bed until 3 in the afternoon, and decorate our new apartment.

....................

WE ARE SO IMMATURE, which makes everything hilarious.

Last week, Matt was laying down, and I told him: "Im going to lick your face from bottom to top." Oh, I definitely did. But then his bigger and wetter mouth turned around and soaked my face in spit too. It's even become our new way of threatening each other. Because it's nasty.

That's what we do. Things like that. All the time. And, weird or not, we love it.
(We have to entertain our poor selves somehow).

Like Matt says... "whatev's comf."

We love being married.

Love, LoVe, LOVE
